Not sure what to say?

My dad lives on in the memories of many friends and parishioners, especially family, with the many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, the funny stories and songs, magic tricks he did to keep us giggling! Missing the skin part, dad, but so happy you are Home, free...

Sorry to hear about Mr. Charters -- I remember him and his family in the years before he was a reverend. They were such good people and I send my best to Nancy and Nina. Such good fun memories.

Of course growing up in that family had its own blessings and such, but the most recent was the changes in his life due to his work with Friends of Bill and the church at Cascade. His was now a walk of spirituality and not just words or creed. It is always the spiritual that makes the difference in us. He patterned a new way of life and when I was ready to look at the parts of my soul that were broken, he and mom pointed the way and were good to talk with about my own history. I know in my...

I also worked with Dale at Wolverine Brass. We shared a special birthday together. He will be sadly missed by our whole family, Proud to have been your friend but mostly realize I've been blessed... Cascade Christian church has lost a precious servant of God! Dale Charters was a gift from God to all he served. Dale had a deep love of God, his wife Barbara his children and the people of the Calden Lake and the Cascade Christian Churches. After retiring from a high-pressure job in the business world, Dale was ready, willing and able to fulfill his dream of ministering to God’s people.

First God, and Ray Gaylord, sent Dale and Barb to Calden Lake Christian Church for a wonderful...

Mr.Charters, what a great man he was. I have knowned him since I was 13 years old when he came to the Cowden Lake Christian Church as our pastor. He married us in 1964, christianed our four children, baptised and married then and also christianed our six grandchildren. What great wisdom he has given us and we will always carry him and Barbara in our hearts. We know he is in Gods hands and with Barbars. We love you. Garth & Vickie Bunker & family

I am truly sorry to learn of Rev. Charters passing. He was so good to my family when he was pastor of Cowden Lake Chuch of Christ and my family lived nearby. He was such a wonderful man. I am proud that he officiated at my father's funeral. The world is a lesser place without Rev. R. Dale Charters.
