May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Wayne touched everyone's life he encountered. I'm blessed I was another lucky one who knew him and had the opportunity to hear his wonderful music he played camping or hanging out at Stu and Nina's.

Regrettably it's been a lttile while Wayne but I will never forget you.I will remember you as a friend, a bandmate, a mentor, storyteller, phillosopher,and a helluva musician. Thank you Lord , for allowing Wayne Henderson to be a part of our lives,a lifetime of memories, some seem a blur now, clouded by our youthful and foolish ways, as he wondered his way thru our lives.
trying to find his own answers, how he should live, what kind of man,should he be, how could he make peace within his heart,for his family and friends.

I am so thankful to have had you in my life. Your presence in the Bethel household in my experience has been such a natural one, a necessary balance to your brother and friend, and someone for us 'youngins' to look up to and learn from. I am proud to call you family and we all will miss you dearly. Your love for music, your love for life, and your acceptance of all it has to offer have been appreciated by many. Your stories of days I wish I could have seen have given me glimpses...
