Not sure what to say?

I met Don some years ago at the celebration of my chiropractor, Dan Crane's mother's 100 Birthday party. We talked about WWII and how he was at Iwo Jima. He told me that he was spitting distance to those men that first raised our Flag. I will never forget that chance encounter with an American Hero. R Donald Walp. May Don and all of our American Veterans that have passed on to Heaven, rest in peace. God bless you all. Former US Army Alan Johnson

I just heard about Mr Walp, I have many fond memories of him.
My condolences to Mrs Walp and family.

Our condolences to the Walp and Nikischer families. It was our extreme pleasure to get acquainted with Mr. Walp and family at gatherings in both our homes after finding a genealogical connection back in Burgenland! He was an outstanding individual as are all the members of his whole family! Godspeed!

Grew up going to the Walp's house. Don was a great role model. Loved seeing him tinker, putting up the trains and building something in the yard.
The rolls at the Restaurant were my favorite and he always brought a basket to the table when I was in with my Dad. Last saw Don here in Florida few years ago. My deepest condolences.

My condolences to your family. I ate many Sunday dinners at Walp's going back 55 years. He was a good patriarch to his family and always enjoyable to talk to.

Elaine and I offer our sincere sympathy to the entire family.
We know he will be missed because he was a great guy.

My condolences to Terri and the Walp family. I worked with Donald at Walps Restaurant before they sold to the Nikischers. Donald was a great man, you knew he truly cared about others. Rest in peace Donald.
