R. Marlene White

How do you say goodbye to a friend of more than 20 years? You don´t really, ever. I´ll miss you most, Marlene, in the fall when both football and figure skating start up again. I´ll pull for the Giants for you, and wonder what you´d think when Arch Manning finally decides where he´ll go to college. I´ll miss the exchange of emails during figure skating competitions, discussing the latest hero, villain, and scandal. I hope your longtime companion Tasha was waiting for you...

I knew and worked with Marlene for several years at Greyhound. She was a delightful and loving lady, smart as they come, and always had an amazing attitude...toward everything. While her passing is a tragic loss for those left behind who grieve her passing, it is definitely Heaven's gain. I am certain she is spreading as much joy as ever with those loved ones who have gone on before us. She is too soon gone...but will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear sweet lady!
