My great Grandmother Was Alice Womack RC Allen was her grandson as was my dad John Charles White Jessica Womack White was my grandmother My dad spoke of RC since we were very young kids.We lived in Blytheville a short time and moved all over central US and ended up in Beaumont Texas where my dad John did chemical water treatment work ( engineering). We had been keeping up with R.C.'s fight via Karen and Paul and have held him close in prayer this past month. His gravelly, Southern voice was a good foil for his marshmallow interior. He was a great hugger, and you always had the feeling that he was genuinely glad to see you.

I will always remember how much fun he and Paul used to have telling Vanderbilt football stories or, as B. Welby referred to them, "50 stories from the 50's." He was a wonderful...
