Read MoreI remember Rev. Sutton as a honorable man who lead his church with pride and dignity. I was a very girl when would come to my grandmother and grandfather house for vacation Bible school. It was a most memorable time and he was an approachable and caring person that loved his church as well as his wife and family. I am truly grateful for the dedication to teaching and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. RIP

This is with sadness I extend my condolences to the family. Rev. Sutton and Dixie Hill Baptist Church were a part of my childhood. Being in the Sunlight choir, Vacation Bible School and summers with my cousin Maranda and Grandparents Clifford and Ruby McGregor. A kind man and a powerful preacher.
