Roman came into Bev's life after the premature death of my father. They had a wonderful, suportive relationship. Bev was lucky to have known and loved him.

Roman was so fortunate to have had Beverly in his life to bring him such joy and happiness in his later years. May we all be as fortunate as he was. He died contented and most of all loved.

I met Roman when he and my mother Beverly Maris began dating. The best time I ever had was one year my mother and Roman came to New Jersey to visit me. There are two things I will always remember about Roman. The first was his generosity. The second and most important to me was his deep freindship and love he had for my mom. Over the last couple of years it became very clear how much they meant to each other and I am grateful that Roman and my mom were able to experience that kind of love....

I worked with Roman at General Atomics from time to time over the years. Not everyone warrants the description of "good people"....but Roman definitely was always "good people". My heartfelt condolences to the family.
