Not sure what to say?

I learned of Dave Stup from his donation of a used car to the Frederick HS Safe and Sane Graduations, Class of 1995 and class of 1996. I began buying my cars from him and service in the garage. He was always welcoming and helpful. I just learned of his death November 9, 2021. I feel like I've lost a friend. I'm very sorry for your loss Mary Alice, and all of Dave's family and friends.

We remember Dave Stup at Fox's Sport and Bait Store as a Friend of the Founder John S. Fox and his Brother Ed Fox ,and our store. We saw Dave on many occasions until our closing in 2018 . We knew his Parents at the Stups Garage and dealt there on many occasions. He loved his fishing and crabbing and showed his many catches at the store. May he Rests in Peace !

Dave was a long time client who became a friend. Working in insurance does not always bring a warm welcome from clients. Dave gave me an amazing gift as we worked together over many years...... it was the gift of trust. He knew I would always tell him the truth and try my best to protect his business. I value that gift to this very day. Thank you Dave. May you be greeted in heaven by the One who saw the absolute goodness in you, and prepared a place for your arrival!

May the love of friends carry you through your grief.

Have known Dave and the Stup family since grade school at Urbana through High School. A 71 graduate with Dave and Sue and Mary Alice. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. May God bless you with his healing, comfort you and strengthen you in the days and weeks ahead.
