Lee and I were fellow 17 year old recruits in Plt 322 Apr to July 1961. I was the Housemouse and Lee was a quiet farm boy in the middle of the pack. We connected in Joliet where he came in alternating years for Toys for Tots. Lee was the real deal who lived as a Marine, he always kept his honor clean and was without scandal. A great man, American, Marine, husband, father, and friend to all. Semper Fidelis, Rest in Peace.
