Ithas been a few years since I have seen Chuck. He was an interesting, busy man, with a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed meeting with him when I worked at SPHC. I will say this, the man got things done.

May God bless and keep the family a this time. Our prayers are with you.

This past week, I found myself laughing at memories of DHCD, like you and Stan teaching me how to check Brim, Friday Happy Hours and riding the city with visions of rehab and redevelopment of our City's neighborhoods. Thank you for your community service, sharing your knowledge and vision.

My condolences to the family. Chuck was a vibrant, confident and enthusiastic person who made a difference in so many lives in Kansas City. His passion and success in community development will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

I will always be greatful to Chuck for taking care of Alice and Andrew. He was always kind, caring and giving to my children. always an encourager and lover of life. Shame on us for never getting it together to have veal's liver and onions. We will miss you much. sincerely, Greg and Scott Benton, Krista and John Robertson and Lisa Pasini

One of my greatest memories of Chuck is his opening speech to the National Community Building Network in Kansas City where he said, "When you think of me, there are 4 "B's": Blues, Baseball, Beer and Bar Mitzvahs."

May his memory be a blessing for all of us.
