Like so many George helped I am grateful to have known him and helped as well. He was instrumental in getting me and family thru tough times with my Mom and later brother Joe, a close friend of George.My sincere condolences to Ann and family. May he rest in peace.

George and I were in the same class at St. John's Elementary School in Arctic. I left Rhode Island in 1962 to work in other states and overseas. No matter where I went, George customarily asked my sister how I was doing.
His obituary is an unequivocal testimony of his love for mankind. He was a people person and I am proud to call him my friend.
Rest in peace, George, and enjoy your just reward as a "good man" who touched many lives.
