On behalf of the Simpson siblings - Patty, Jim, myself, and Rick - I send you our condolences. Our Dad, James Edwin Simpson, was Edwin's cousin and a dear friend from childhood onward. I imagine the two Edwins celebrating at the 19th hole right now.

For Edwin my old friend, it was a privilege to know you. I'll always remember you as having a respect for others regardless of their role in life. I'll also remember with a smile in my heart your astute negotiations on the first tee. Hell, you won most of your golf matches before the first ball was struck. hopefully well get the chance to negotiate again on heavens first tee.
