Not sure what to say?

To Jan´s family (Marilyn & Scott), I just happened to find this obituary...of my much-loved endodontist of many years ago now. He was one incredible man...and dentist/endodontist too! I only got through my lst root canal because Jan was so wonderfully patient & caring. He suggested I come and observe, as a start, & I did. But the big thing for me was that he said he could stop, at any time, if I needed a rest. He never made me feel badly for being a unique patient either. And later I was...

I loved Jan so much, he was my boss for many years and a great one he was. I think of him often and what a great person, husband, father, boss he was. I am now dealing with my father, whom also has parkinson's disease. I Love you Jan and your family too!!!

My deepest thoughts are with you Marilyn and Family. It was always a pleasure to chase those "Big Rainbows" with Jan and other classmates at Davis Lake. A very wonderful deer hunting trip to the Wallowa's also has always stuck in my mind. Jan was a very fine and great person and will be missed..

Marilyn-

My deepest condolences. Although we haven't seen each other in a couple of decades, I still have fond memories of time spent with you and Jan and your mom. I hope you remember me. (I'm the little boy who got the whole neighborhood started calling Barbara "Mrs. Willowby") I can't possibly imagine the pain you must be feeling right now.... but then again, if Jan's Parkinson's was anything like my grandma Maria's was before she passed a year ago, I can't imagine the relief Jan...

Marilyn and Scott,
I am so glad I got to read this. So grateful that I got to witness you both in action loving on Jan through his Parkinsons years. You are all so loved and it is an honor to remember and celebrate Jan's life. Our prayers and love are with you. xoxo Maricel, Tucker and kiddos

I grew up with Jan in Tualatin,Oregon. I envied him plowing the tractor and finding arrowheads shining in the field. He was my brother's friend and Martta and Reide were so good to us. Reide founded cub scout pack 530.
I volunteer at Tualatin Historical Society and have told his story many times about the indian fluking on their farm.

Dear Marilyn and Scott:
Bill and I are both incredibly sad to hear about Jan. We both said that we just wish people like him, would not leave us so soon. I will always remember the good times we all had working in that office we called "the dungeon". Our love goes out to you both. I expect to see this humble giving man someday while I'm space traveling through the universe. Amy Jo sends her love, also. Bill and Pat

To Marilyn and Family
Jan's kind heart was reflected through his smiling eyes in such a comforting way--to his patients and to us.
It was an honor to work alongside Jan in his endodontic expertise.
Thank you Jan and Marilyn for the memeories. When we see a rainbow we will think of you.
Good fishing Jan-
