My father and Burnett were in the Battle of the Bulge together, at The Hague, in Prague and at Georgetown. They remained close friends throughout the years. When I moved to Sacramento I too became friends with Burnett and Mimi and was very happy to get to know them both. Burnett was an extraordinary person of wit, charm, depth, and caring. I will miss you!
