Not sure what to say?

Dr. Scott saved not only saved my son's life but the quality of his life as well. I have just learned of his passing. This was a man who was truly gifted by God and gave us hope when my husband and I were so distraught. Our son was diagnosed with moyamoya in 1994 when very few Drs even knew what it was. He was a pioneer in this field and performed a 12 hour surgery on our son. I have always said that his hands and mind were crafted by God. May God bless him and his entire family.

I have know Dr. Scott for more than 30 years as a patient. Dr. Scott operated on me in 1989 and kept our friendship at the opera with my adopted mother Micheline Vareika who passed away in 2019. I am still devastated by the passing of Dr. Scott as he was one doctor that my adopted mother all way call for advice in time of my medical needs. Without know what was going to happen to him, in 2004 he told my adopted mother that it was time for me to graduagte from seeing him and refered me to...

Doctor Scott saved my life he will be truly missed he did my moyamoya surgery back on May 5th of 08

I was just looking Dr.Scott up and saw he had passed I was so sad to hear this. He did surgery on my daughter when she was 18 for her moyamoya she is now 60 and he did surgery on my grandson when he was 5 he is now 29 he saved their lives. My heart is heavy to hear this RIP Dr.Scott and thank you for being such a great friend

I was in shock, when I heard of Dr. Scott's death in 2023. Dr. Scott is the Angel sent from Heaven that saved my life in 1998 when I went to him at age 28, after being diagnosed with an extremely rare disease I never realized I had, called Moyamoya Disease. I was at Stage 4 and, although I was able to function well enough to meet with Dr. Scott with my parents, I was getting almost no blood to my brain and was quickly deteriorating. Dr Scott offered an amazing and innovative surgical...

I am so sorry to hear of this tremendous loss. I think of Dr. Scott often and just decided to look him up and found this obituary. I live in Rhode Island and work at Pfizer in CT and was given his name by medical colleagues as the best of the best in 2010 when my son required a tethered spinal cord surgery at 7 years old. Dr. Scott performed my son's initial surgery and then had to go back in about for another surgery about 10 days later when my son developed complications. We feel...

Dr. Scott performed my pill synangiosis surgery for my moyamoya in 2001 when I was only 5 years old. I am so grateful to the man I don't even remember for improving my life and saving it too. Without surgery who knows where I would be or if I would have made it this far. I offer my condolences to the family.

We have long admired Dr. Scott, and his incredible skill in neurosurgery. He operated on our daughter successfully, and she has had a healthy life since recovering from that surgery. We are eternally grateful to him for all that he did for our daughter, and for thousands of other children and young adults who have benefitted from his knowledge and skill. Too often we do not thank those who have made such a difference in our lives. He will never be forgotten. May God bless and comfort his...

I want to thank Dr, Scott for saving my 4 yr old daughter who had Cavernous Hemangioma. You have done so much for so many children. My daughter graduated Suma com laude and is doing so well thanks to your neurosurgeon skills. We will never forget you and will always be grateful that the good Lord sent you to us and to so many people. Our love and condolences to Dr. Scott's family.
