R. Ryan Stoll

I had the honor of working with Ryan on a major police corruption case when I was with the FBI. He was a true professional and I remember to this day the celebration we had after the prosecution team won convictions on all counts. Very sorry to learn that Ryan has passed.

Dear Stoll Family: I did not know Ryan, but we are brothers in arms (runner, hiker, Grand Canyon explorer, lawyer). I have a long history with the Boucher trail and am headed there again this weekend. I will honor and recognize your husband and father each and every time I am on the Boucher. We were neighbors of Ryan and Cilla in Northbrook. So many great memories of the Stoll´s and Cliffy, Casey´s, Hoefer´s and Onsrud´s on Oak Street starting new families. There were great vacations, Crystal Lake Michigan and The Caymans Island Sting Ray City incident. Ryan´s competitive spirit was apparent whether we were playing a friendly pickup basketball game or wiffle ball. On many occasions I tried to run with him. I tried...Well little did I know of his Stanford and High School...

My heart lost a beat when I heard of Ryan's untimely passing. I was his Head Track Coach but Dick Olufs was his distance coach. Ryan will be missed forever. I remember all the great times and what a great young man he was during his stay at LFHS. Love and prayers to his family and to all who will miss this wonderful young man, Coach Pie
