7/14/2025 -I worked with Bill Ide for many years at Dentons (formerly, McKenna, Long & Aldridge). I called him Mr. Ide, because that's usually what we called all of the senior partner attorneys. But I really knew him as "Bill." He became a positive light in my everyday working life when I'd see him and he would say, "Hello, Sunshine" or "Hey, Songbird." Bill was a force of nature and the most engaged and caring person I have known in the legal profession. I was lucky to know Bill and to have him as my boss at Monsanto Company. Being Bill's cousin was a major treat and perk in my family life. I was hoping to help with his last ABA project and will contribute to it in his memory.
