Rabbi Joseph Sternstein

Rabbi Sternstein was my rabbi when I lived in Dayton, Ohio. He was the rabbi at my Bat Mitzvah. My father, Ralph Kopelove was president of the shul during that time. Rabbi Sternstein had a commanding presence and we all looked upon him with awe. I remember my mm telling me over and over.."Be sure you look at the Rabbi when he talks to you and don't give him a fish handshake. An inspiring leader for all Jews, he always made one feel a part of Eretz Yisroel, even though an ocean away. Forever a blessed memory.
