Rachel was born on May 5, 1955, in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of Cornelius and Edna Senseman. Rachel was the loving wife of Mark, her husband of 48 years. She loved her children and 8 grandchildren.

Rachel worked as a nurse at Mercy Medical Center for 13 years before retiring in 2018. She enjoyed being with her family, traveling, swimming, playing the piano and watching sunsets. She felt blessed with many friends and her Lord Jesus Christ, to whom she was a devoted follower.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Mark Larson; their sons, Stephen (Myuki) Larson of Cedar Rapids and Philip (Marcey) Larson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Bethany (Matthew) Bartlett of Rochester, Minnesota; grandchildren, Anna, Rowan, Annika, Ayla, Sylvi, Ian, Alani and Clara; and siblings, Daniel Senseman of Georgia, Ruth Cotton of Colorado, and Rebecca Arnold of Texas.

Not sure what to say?

I only knew Rachel & Mark for a short time through Stonebridge Church and at Treasures Resale Shop. She was very sweet toward me. My condolences to all the family. She certainly will be missed.

Mark & family May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you cling to your faith in Jesus. I’m so sorry to hear this. I am thankful for my friendship with Rachel and enjoyed seeing her at the pool often! We have been swimming friends for at least 10 years! She talked about her family often and you were all precious to her!
Sincerely,
Abbie Barta

"Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord."

Rachel was such a sweet lady... it's hard to believe she's gone. I had the pleasure of volunteering with her at Treasures and Hidden Gems. She was so caring and thoughtful. She loved to share photos of her family...especially those beautiful grandchildren. I'm so sorry for your loss. She loved you all so much. God be with you and give you his peace.

Our hearts are with you as you mourn the loss of Rachel. She always greeted people with a beautiful smile that radiated warmth. We are grateful for her dedicated service to Bridgehaven and Treasures for many years. May your family find peace and comfort in the Lord's presence.

A sweet memory I have of Rachel was an Easter that she and Mark joined our family. I have a picture of her holding our granddaughter and swinging with her as she slept. Rachel wasn’t a grandmother at that time but so looked forward to that time in her life. She was a warm and loving woman who will be deeply missed. I admired her unwavering faith and love for Jesus. May each of us, her family and friends, find comfort in knowing she is free of pain and eternally at home with the Lord Jesus.

Ohhhh.our hearts are so heavy and sad to hear this news. Please know you are in the hearts and prayers of all from our Bible study. Rachel was an important part of our circle- she cared about people and was a faithful part of the groupshe blessed people with thoughtful giftsshe clearly loved the Lord and her family. We’re thankful that because of Jesus we don’t grieve like the world, but there’s still a shock and grief we’re processing through, as I’m sure you are, too. May the Lord be your...
