Rachel L. (Perron) Renaud, 93, of North Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at HopeHealth Hospice Care in Providence. She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond G. Renaud, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Woonsocket RI, Rachel was the loving daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Marcotte) Perron and the loving sister of the late Donald Perron and the late M. Jeanne Carney.
As a teen and young adult, Rachel was a professionally trained vocalist who performed throughout New England in many stage and radio venues. Rachel also worked for New England Telephone as a telephone operator. However, Rachel was most talented at being a doting wife, loving mother to her three daughters, and devoted caregiver to her grandchildren. Rachel loved nothing more than spending time with and caring for her family.
Rachel is survived by her loving children: Diane Jolin, of Mansfield, MA; Susan Lataille and her husband, Gary, of Woonsocket, RI; and Michelle Baldelli and her husband, Dan, of Cumberland, RI; six grandchildren, Rocco Baldelli, Jonathan Smith, Andrew Jolin, Nicholas Baldelli, Alex Lataille and Dante Baldelli; and seven great grandchildren, Luc and Isaac Jolin, Louisa, Nino and Enzo Baldelli, and Logan and Grace Baldelli.
A private family service will be provided by O’Neill Funeral Home, Cumberland, RI.

Rachael graced us with much love and joy over the past year that our mother has been a resident at St Antoine. Whenever we saw her she always had such loving and kind words about her three daughters. Would talk about her singing on the radio. She always complemented me and my husband with so much love. It was truly a blessing to know her. What an amazing gift she had to make people feel special. We will surely miss her hugs and love. Sending her family our prayers and condolences.

Sue, so very sorry to hear that your mum passed. You were always a devoted and hands on daughter, always taking such loving care of your mum. I remember during Covid the yummy meals you took to her and the constant grocery shopping bringing her goodies. I remember Rachel telling me you were her shopper and decorator when she moved into Assisted Living. Your Mum had the best smile, a kind spirit and great faith.
