I have the fondest memories of my dad's Aunt Rachel. I really enjoyed seeing her and Uncle Harold when they visited. I can only hope that they are reunited.

My Aunt Rachel was like a second mother and a grandmother rolled up into one. I spent my summers with her and my Uncle Harold when I was young. She always held a special place in my heart. She taught me to make doll cakes and made them for me every year; a tradition I continued with my own daughter. Her passing leaves a hole in my heart, but I rejoice in knowing that she has been reunited with Uncle Harold and Suzie. Bless you, Aunt Rae. Carl and I will always love you.

Aunt Rachel was certainly a child of God. May she be with the Angels and sing glory to God along with Uncle Harold and Susie. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone as we are in Texas now. Sorry we will miss the memorial.

Rachel was the only Primary teacher I can still remember. Every time I returned to Springfield to visit she was genuinely interested in my life. I look forward to greeting her again.
