Not sure what to say?

I went on a fun trip with Rachel and Fred in their station wagon as a kid with other family... Rest In Peace in the Presence of the Lord, Rachel.

Dear Marilyn, Jim & Barb, I dreamed of your Mama last night. She greeted me with a huge smile & was her bustling, generous self. I just wanted to share how much joy, laughter and comfort she shared in our much younger days...& apparently continues to do so. I know it's been a year but my heart & thoughts are with you. All of us that picked in the fields were so very fortunate to have your Mom & Dad in our lives as our 'field parents'. Even now I hear your Dad saying "ponytails are for horses"...

Lovely Obit. Elegant is the first word I think of to describe Rachel. Beautiful hair, attire and attitude. She knew how to enjoy life, not worrying about the small stuff. What a wonderful cook! Rachel knew how to love those in her life and take good care of them. I will always remember how much fun she and Fred seemed to have together. Always greeting everyone with a smile and open, positive energy.
Rachel inspires me to be more elegant, not sweat the small stuff and appreciate every...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My sister Barb and I worked on Fred and Rachel's farm in Clackamas, next to the river, for many years, during our grade school and high school days. And I continued to work there in the summer even after I went off to college. We were there when the kids were born, and we watched them grow up. I learned to swim on "the point," at the edge of the farm, a few yards from where Fred had his pump to take irrigation water from the Clackamas river. I helped move a lot of pipe over the years,...

What a loss! Mrs. Siri was such a fabulous lady, beautiful inside and out. When I would run into her, she was always so friendly, inquiring, and nurturing. She always asked about my parents. God bless her and her family!

I Went to school with Marilyn and Jim and my son Andrew is good friends with Joe. The Siri family has been entwined with mine for many years. Even though I didn't talk to Rachel much, she was always such a powerful motherly presence with such an enveloping smile to all. My heart goes out to all of you. The Lord truly blessed you all with such a loving lady. She enriched so many people's lives. May God's peace fill your hearts knowing she is with Him. Blessings, Jeanne (Hans) Hubel

I so enjoyed visiting with Rachel when she came to my salon to have her hair cut and styled. She was always the highlight of my day.
My heart goes out to her family at this most difficult time.
My father, Lewis Isaacs, so enjoyed visiting with Rachel. Later in life he would tell stories about the Syrian culture growing up here in Portland, with Azar family stories some of his favorites.
We will miss Rachel. She was a breath of fresh air we will not forget.

I have fond memories of a very sweet, kind and classy lady. Fred and Rachel were always together smiling and enjoying life. I am sorry for your loss but its comforting to know they are reunited again!
