Rachel was the dearest person I've ever known. She was kind and accepting of everyone. She was the best friend anyone could have asked for.

My heart goes out to her family for their loss. I share your tears.

Kindness and grace are two words that come to mind when I think of Rachel. The busy years- when we were having kids and supporting each other. The time she and Doug came to Traverse City to visit when our son was so ill. We are so sad to hear of your devastating loss. She will be remembered with love. Martha and Larry Lepine

Rachel was a wonderful person ! She was truly My daughter Kalle Taipalus Hills second Mother ! I always felt she was in good hands when I would allow her to stay at Ruthies house ! I loved her calm demeanor! And her caring Hart ! Love Lisa White.

To a wonderful woman that I know brightened everyone's days. She had the most beautiful heart and family. Always caring and nice. This breaks my heart. She even brought me homemade wine when I lived in Michigan, going out of her way. Such a sweet woman. She will be missed. Hugs to all of her family and friends.
