Not sure what to say?

I still think about you, Rachel, and am so glad to have gotten to know you a bit during our shared time in Pittsburgh. My love to the Steigerwalt family.

I am thinking of Mary and David as the 2nd anniversary of Rachel's death approaches. I pray wonderful family memories and the ever-present goals she continued to reach throughout her life remain as a lovely legacy to all. I am always aware of the profound sadness of your loss.

Remembering Rachel and what a Beautiful person she was, inside and out. Her smile was genuine.

Always remembering her.

While the family and close friends of Rachel have held her memory in their hands and hearts through this first year, my wish for them is to always remember and honor her wonderful legacy going forward. Although I didn't know Rachel personally I was touched by her loss through my friend David, Rachel's stepfather.

Dear family of Rachel,I'm saddened to hear of Rachel's passing. I saw her this summer before she went to burning man (I hope she went). When I think of Rachel, I can only think, what a dear.' Rachel was a humanist, a real listener and genuinely kind. I knew her as a colleague over the past many years. My heart aches. Her Light will be missed. May her memory be a blessing, always. Blessings to you in your time of grief,Jamie

To Rachel's family:
Rachel and I worked together for six months at Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers in 2006 before IVC became a program of Family Services of Western PA. She was a bright, compassionate, fun, strong, beautiful and wonderful young woman. I was so sad to hear that she is not with us anymore. My sincere condolences to her family. She was an amazing young woman and I am blessed to have known her and called her my friend.
With love and sincere sympathy,
Ann F. Mason

The world is a less interesting place without you in it

I am SO sorry to hear this tragic news! I worked with Rachel on a project several years ago at UPMC Health Plan. She was a delightful, smart, exuberant and focused person. She was so talented! My sincerest condolences to her family.
