Sorry for your loss. It was Mary Julia I knew. She was in my class. Ted I knew through basketball. Oddly....if you find the Throwback section of the same paper, you'll find a picture of a Carpenter St. class. Burd and Chase later married, Dick Clark is standing behind. I helped him fix a flat in the 80's I ran into Marvin Miller at Dow..............and look off to the left.....staring at the camera is 11 or 12 year old Ted. Their mother was a sweet lady. Drove a big "woodie" with whitewalls...

A caring boss at SAIS, Ted Baker helped me through a hard time when my son got sick in the military. Admiral Baker was able to make a phone call to have my only child transferred to Bethesda Naval Hospital that was the best thing ever. I have never meet anyone like him. Sending my condolences.

A truly remarkable man. Best boss ever. It was an honor to work with him at SAIS. He cared about the people and his love of family always shone through. Sending love and sympathy.

The Baker family were very special friends of our family. My father (Janet) worked with Teds father at Dow Chemical Company for many years in Midland. Ted and Rex and I were schoolmates and friends in Midland during those special years. A very special family. We send our love and sympathy!
