Not sure what to say?

Barb: We too have some wonderful memories with you and Rae and family in Whitehorse! You were so caring and helpful. One of our best memories is when Rae and Allan K. decided to play matchmakers for Ed and I. Well, it worked and we are still together after 46 years! At our wedding he and Allan also played a prank and kidnapped the bride, but then didn't know where to take her! His calm, quiet nature and sense of humor along with his deep love for the Lord endeared him to us. We now wish you...

Barb! Our memories of a wonderful, hospitable and fun couple go back to the sixties and seventies, we enjoyed some great times with you at your home, church, and other venues around Whitehorse. Appreciated Rae for his calm steadiness, sense of humour, and his unfailing trust in his Saviour. The Lord comfort you in the days ahead.

Dear Barb and family

We are sad to hear of Rae's passing. We have lots of fond memories of you folk and the times together through the 70's at Whitehorse. We look forward to the day when 'goodbye' isn't part of our vocabulary nor will there be any separations. May you be blest with many Happy Memories yourself and encouraged by the sense of Christ's Prescense and enabling each day.

Sorry to hear Uncle Ray passed away. A fond memory is of Uncle Ray and my Dad out canoing on Windimire lake and being capsized. Both feeling the only thing to do is sink to the bottom and run as neither were swimmers.
Another was of both Uncle Ray and Dad posing with the customs officer declaring Uncle Ray purchase of underwear. Growing up with the Howes living 3 houses down from us made for many happy times together.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Bryan and Connie

I had the pleasure of meeting Rae and his wonderful wife and family during the last few months of his life. I wish it was better circumstances that we meet but even through Rae's disease I saw that he was a kind, gentle man who liked to joke.
Cherish your memories of Rae, your husband, father, brother and grandpa as you deal with his loss in your lives.

I too had the great pleasure of knowing Rae through the Calgary office of Parks Canada, when he was part of the dedicated unit. A quiet man, a man of great personal strength, and a friend. I offer my sympathies on your loss.

Barb and family;

Our thoughts and prayers are with you on your journey.
A memory is of the short term mission trip to Caracus Venezuela we did together and the life experience that proved to be.

My condolences to the family. I worked at Parks Canada with Rae and was sad to hear of his passing. He was truly a nice and gentle human in the Calgary Regional Office. Rest in Peace.

When I think of Rae, four words come to mind, "gentle spirit, strong faith"!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Barb, as well as, your incredible family.
