Carol and Family

Our prayers and thoughts are with you today as you celebrate the life of Ray and his many accomplishments during his lifetime. He was always kind and had a warm smile to greet you with. I met Ray while I was at Napa High and he was a friend of my brother, Jack. His mother, Ruth, would always let me out of study hall early and I was very grateful to Ray for that. God Bless

Ray was a great guy and a Icon of the Hot Rodders in California, I have know Ray for over 50 years, I worked at the ranch for George and Ruth when Ray was the guy who ran the show, Ray inspired a bunch of us in high school to get into Hot Rodding. Each time I have seen Ray in the past he was always the same, great guy with a big heart. We will miss this truly one of a kind man. He has had a great life and one can only hope for the same

To us the world stop still at the news of Ray's passing. We will always remember that warm smile and twinkle in his eyes. We are thankful for the many wonderful memories that Ray gave us - boating on the Delta, card games, good jokes, and farming wisdom. He had a big heart and a genuinely gentle, compassionate spirit. He will be missed and always remembered. May the family find solace in knowing that heaven received a special soul the day Ray left us. God bless all.

I will always cherish the fond childhood memories of hanging out at Ray and Carol's house while growing up in Fremont. They were like a second set of parents to me. I thought of Ray as the "gentle giant"! While his size was intimidating, he was always soft spoken and had a heart of gold. As a child I thought he could work miracles. I'll never forget the day I wrecked my mother's car and drove straight to their house and tearfully asked Ray if he could fix it before my mother got home from...

We are SOOOOOOOO sorry we are unable to attend. Ray was more than a "boss" to Troy - his was/is a father figure/mentor & just an awesome guy. They don't make them like that anymore. I know Troy try's to do what Ray would do in ANY given situation. We love you all!!
