Raf was my direct manager at PayPal and when I was put in the hospital he came out and spent some quality time with me. He had a very caring heart and concern for others.

Raf was such a great guy. Knew him a long time as he grew up with our son Rick Dart. What I remember most is that smile. I can see him smiling as I write this. He was so special and is so missed. He is smiling down on everyone.

I only new Raf for the time period that he worked at LinkedIn but the friendship that we had was genuine. His desk was right next to mine and I always looked forward to our daily conversations which will be greatly missed. Crazy thing is that I've been out of the office the past 2.5 weeks because of the birth of my new son. So, I wasn't able to see Raf recently before this sad news.
