Few people are capable of constructing their world to live their life with such an interesting and satisfying outcome. However, Ralph was such a person and all who were fortunate enough to know him well have the chance to build their own legacy through his example. I know this is a hard time. Please know you have my continued support for whatever your needs may be.

Dear Gunvor, with sorrow we learn from Aftenposten that Ralp has passed away.We feel deeply with you in these difficult times. We remember with great pleasure the many times we were guests in your home, and Ralp was an excellent adviser and good friend to me the years I served as Consul General in Houston. He was a good man for Norway and the Norwegian seafarers.
