Services for Rafael Herrera, Jr., 24, will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Rafael was born October 25, 1999 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of Rafael Herrera, Sr., and Diana L. Castillo. He passed away on June 30, 2024 at a local hospital.
He was a carpenter and worked with his father. He had received his Auto Mechanic certification from UTI in Dallas, Texas.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Diana; his father, Rafael; sisters, Hazel Herrera and Yuliana Enriquez; brother Marlin M. Curdenas; grandparents, Juli Castillo; Jose Herrera Eguia; Angelina Loera Martinez aunts and uncles; Jose Manuel Castillo; Juan Francisco Castillo; Elizabeth Castillo; Julio Castillo; Perla Sanchez; Miram Ruiz; Juan Jose Herrera; Juana Maria Herrera Loera; and Isabel Cristina Herrera Loera.
