Owens and Brumley Funeral Home - Wichita Falls Obituary

Rain Reece Camacho, 19, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.


The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Sowell, officiating.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.


Rain was born October 2, 2003 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She was currently a freshman at Cameron University majoring in Early Childhood Education.  She worked at Chief’s in Lawton, Oklahoma and recently accepted a position to tutor children with learning disabilities.  


Rain had a huge heart and loved helping others.  She enjoyed painting and spending time with her fur babies, Mars and Birdie.  Rain had a beautiful smile that would light up any room, she was smart, funny, and had dreams to open an animal sanctuary.


She was preceded in death by her sister, Aaliyah Reece; and her grandmother, Anne Bianchi.


She is survived by her newlywed husband, Ethan Camacho of Norfolk, Virginia; her parents, Karla and Preston Carlock of San Antonio, and Jason Reece of Diboll; her siblings, Jazlyn Carlock, Noah Carlock, Ivy Carlock, Moses Carlock, and Xavier Hill; and a host of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Karla & Preston, I just want to extend my heart to yours. You know God has bigger plans for rain that we might not be able to see right now. He must if her life and her story is reaching someone here in Cincinnati Oh. She is spreading her message around the world, her message will save MANY MANY lives. I know how much she loves animals and I had to say goodbye to my German shepherd of 14 1/2yrs on October 14th 2022. I'm hoping that when she arrived at that Rainbow bridge that my Jasper boy...
