I am in shock today learning of your father's passing.
He was a good friend and I lost track of him after the Holiday Inn on Fisherman's Wharf.
We had worked together at the Hotel Sonesta in Washington D C . That was back in 1970-1971.
I will miss him, and my prayers are with you.

Dear Sonja, Nicholas and family,
We are so sorry to hear about your Dad and so long after he passed. We too were in the hotel business with him and you both played with my children, Alison and Leanne. One of their favorite memories is going to the circus with you and then finding mutual friends with the Pohlmans in Walnut Creek. Your Dad was a lovely, kind man and we will miss him. Our prayers are with you.
