Ralene Reeves Hearn

I met Ralene at USM where we debated together with her future husband Roger. She was a talented debater, but her music was what I remember most. She shared her music with us on debate trips - always packing her guitar and leading us in the folk songs of the day. We also shared our similar political and human views which was hard to to do in the tense racial times of the late 60s. Ralene and Roger were two shining stars in my early life and I will remember them the rest of my life.
