Ralph Jerold Baum

Jerry was the prof on an overseas study trip to Britain I took while a student at Lewis & Clark. He took the money the school had given him to rent classrooms and hire teachers,and passed it out to the students on the trip. He told us we would learn far more by getting out, seeing the country and talking to the people than we would in a classroom. He was right. It was the best educational experience I had in college.
