Not sure what to say?

A true gentleman is gone. My deepest sympathy to you. I worked with Ralph at Eastman Kodak Facilities Planning Division. No harsh words ever uttered from him. He was a great fellow to be with. One who could talk of his "...scenic tour of Europe..." carrying a 30 caliber machine gun, a bridge too far, meeting at the Elbe River. Many highlights; however, never mentioning the obvious living with death at his side in combat and the fact of his being decorated. I laud him for his humility. ...

I will turn home at last once more
Knowing that a true soldier's rest
Once earned is sweet
His peace complete
Who gave until the last his best

Dear Family,

Saw the obit on line from out of town. I knew Ralph at Stromberg Carlson and at Kodak, and at Paddy Hill neighborhood. He was a great guy and hard worker.
My condolences to your family.
Our prayers are with you.

Jim and family,
I didn't know Ralph for long but the time I did spend with him was special to me. I'm glad I had the chance to meet and spend time with him and your family. He is a special man and going to be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love,
Kellie

Ralph was one of the finnest men I ever knew. Him and Eilene had put together his medles with a flag that they were so proud of and rightfully so.
Two words always come to mind when I think of Ralph - honesty and integrity.
Truly a good man.
