Brownlee, Dr. Ralph E. Entered Eternal Life on April 24, 2013, at the age of 92 years. Resident of the Milwaukee Catholic Home former resident of Concord Place in Mequon. Beloved husband of 41 years of the late Audrey Brownlee (nee Borhofen). Loving father of Eileen A. Brownlee and William J. Brownlee. Dear brother of the late Robert R. Brownlee. Brother-in-law of the late Nancy Mann, Audrey A. Brownlee and Eileen Hammer. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Dr. Brownlee had been a professor of marketing since 1949 at Marquette University. He was a longtime member of the Serra Club, Knights of the Holy Sepulchre and St. Eugene's Catholic Church. Dr. Brownlee had served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 7600 N. Port Washington Road, Fox Point, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM. Family will also greet friends at a reception following the Mass. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in Ralph's name may be made to Audrey and Ralph Brownlee Faculty Research Endowment Fund at Marquette University, 1250 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, 53233, or Marquette University or the Milwaukee Catholic Home, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee, 53211.

Eileen and Bill:
I had your Dad as a teacher at MU in the early to mid 1980's. He was a very good teacher and a very nice man. I last saw him at the Catholic home maybe six years ago or so. My mother was ill and in the Catholic home for a week or so of rehab. Sorry for your loss.
