Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you.

Ralph was a true gentleman and an inspiration. He definitely had an impact on my life and career, and his humour, warmth and intelligence made an impression that will be with me always. A great Canadian. It was an honour to know him. Our deepest sympathies to Peggy, Roxanne and Gordon and family. I was glad I was able to see Ralph earlier this year.

Ralph was on the Riding Staff at Depot when I first met him. He knew his job and made we recruits good riders. In the latter years, our paths woulde cross and he always remembered you and like to talk about old times.

Ralph, we will always remember the times we had together with the BC Arabian Horse Assn. Your leadership in our shows (before the PNE stint) and your support - Thanks!

How very sad I was to hear of Raph's passing. He was a warm-hearted, kind gentleman and I have many happy memories of the years we worked together at the PNE. I was especially pleased to have gotten one of the puppies of his Schnauzer Kerri's(?) last litter. My deepest sympathy to the Cave Family.

Please accept my sincere condolences - Raplp was indeed a great individual and "one of a kind". He was my riding instructor in 1962 and I always remembered and admired how he sat on a horse. He was the closest thing to Gary Cooper I had ever seen! He not only taught us about riding but about life - he will be missed.
Reg. #22593 Jack Van Norman

My condolences to the Cave family. One of the finest gentleman I have ever known.

I was a Musical Ride member from 1966/67 under S/Sgt. Caves very capable guidance.
