Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Ralph Chandler. He is someone whom I deeply respect and admire. I used to see him often when I was a Trustee at WMU from 1989 to 1996. I loved talking politics with Ralph, and I know his students did as well. He was a much loved professor. His book "The Son of David" is my favorite, and I cherish my personal copy!! He was "one of a kind" and will remain forever as a "hero" in the minds of his friends! Someone that we could always, and will continue to,...

My mother, Marguerite Miller, received great joy and comfort in having you and Dr. Chandler as friends. He was a person of solace when her daughter, Elizabeth, passed away in 1998. She regrettted that the three of you never had dinner together. Even though she lost her life to cancer in July 2006, we wanted you to know how sad we as a family are that your precious husband passed away. Thank you for sharing your husband.

The Jacobs family is saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Chandler. We can remember as children the fun we had jumping the fence into his yard to play with Eli, Bill, Roger, Lynn, and Edith. How the years have past, but you all are always in our thoughts and the memories. We had a lot of fun times together. I can remember the time when Mr. Chandler was in the back yard pruning trees and how he enjoyed the gardens, may he rest eternally in the heavenly gardens. God bless Mrs. Nancy...

I was so sorry to learn of the death of Ralph. Even though I had not really seen him in over 50 years when we were students together at Pensacola High School, I tried to keep up with what he was doing. The kind of young man he was in high school gave evidence of the outstanding man he was to be.
Please accept my deep sympathy.

I am very saddened by the passing of my mentor and former professor, Dr. Chandler. He will live in my heart and in my thoughts.

God bless you, Dr. Chandler. Your legacy will live on, towering as your spirit, to continue impacting the lives of those whom you had touched with your kindness and compassion.

My deepest condolences to Nancy.

Dear Nancy and Family,
We were deeply saddened to learn of Ralph's death. Even though we've not kept in close touch these last few years, we have thought of you on numerous occasions, recalling our fun and wonderful times together. We fondly remember being members of Ralph's thought-provoking Sunday School Class on "Genesis" along with Wes and Louise Eyster and Buzz and Mary Dean Lee. We treasure Ralph's book "Son of David". We hope you will come and visit us in our post-hurricane,...

My condolences to your extended family and friends Eli. My best to your Mom and to you in this very hard time.

I came close a few years back but have not experienced this type of loss yet.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to the Chandler Family during this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you
