Not sure what to say?

Ralph was awesome! I just found some of my math homework from Century College 20 years ago LOL and it made me think of him and I Googled him.... I am so very sorry for your loss he was a fantastic person! I always think of him and how he inspired me not only in math but in life! He was thoughtful and helpful! Such a great person with a wonderful impact!

I had the pleasure of being a colleague of Ralph's at Lakewood Community College. At one point, he coached the men's basketball team and I was coaching the women's basketball team. I remember a chartered bus trip our teams made together to play an opponent in northern Minnesota. In those days we travelled together and played games back to back to conserve money. On the way home something went wrong with the bus and we had no heat, and no ability to defrost the windshield.
I still...

Ralph he taught me how to coach basketball. He taught me stats at Lakewood cc. He taught me about wearing your lucky socks as he did as the women's BB coach.
He would say he and Lois were just two peas in a pod. What a gentle spirit with kindness in his heart.
He modeled what a good teacher should be. I remember him driving the college van in the snow on the grass of the resturant . He said I don't think were suppose to drive here he thought it was blacktop under the snow. The...

Mr Costello was my Stats teacher and coach while at Lakewood Comm. I'll never forget the car trips going to the track meets. He made the long rides seem very short.

Ralph Costello was a wonderful man - a "gentle giant". His kind wisdom and humble intellect made him a joy to know. Our family has been blessed to have included Ralph, and like so many others who he touched with the gift of his life, we will hold his memory with affection and admiration. To Lois, Cathy and Shari - I love you all, so much. Billy Bob

Ralph & I started together at Hill High school in l959 He coached basketball & track & I did football & baseball;nothing but great memories..all good..he was a wonderful man.

Mr. Costello was one of my High-school coaches. He left an everlasting mark on my soul. One of kindness, fairness and sincerity. Memories of Mr Costello are one of the few good things that came out of those years.

As a friend (50 years) and former neighbor of Ralph, I have many good memories. One of the best, I will call, "THE NIGHT I SHOWERED WITH RALPH". As I recall, it was 1963?. Ralph was the basketball coach at Hill H.S. He had asked me to "bench it" with him for the upcoming season. What a honor that was for me. He had a very good, tall team, with two very good guards. We were in conference with great coaches. Don't remember where we finished in conference, but we did well. And, here we were in...

Ralph was a kind friend, who never forgot to say "thank you" to his wife Lois.
