Not sure what to say?

Mr. Cutler was my 7th grade teacher. My favorite teacher ever. He taught about Stephen Foster and all the American Folk Songs which he would Play for us. I was in his first class at Marion Elementary in Novato. I have remembered him over the years. I left Novato in 1956. Had no idea he remained there teaching all those Years. He was an inspirational teacher and a wonderful man.

The Class of 1969 - State Wrestling Champions, were so fortunate that you were our coach and that we were able to visit you in your final year. We have celebrated that visit each year by attending the California State Wrestling Championships in Bakersfield. Ken and Kirt Donaldson, Paul Robertson, Jim Luntzel, myself, Ray Sparling and Bill Maillet. Bill has now joined you and we miss you both!

He was a great person and never stopped teaching. We had some good talks and I loved to see his pictures and hear his stories.

One of only a few who I will always think of as a great teacher and friend. He will be missed.

I remember Mr. Cutler being a respected teacher and coach. It's been so many years ago but I think Mr. Cutler was the teacher that didn't insist that I dissect a frog, instead, I washed beakers. Nice man.

Will always remember when Ralph and I tried to teach some football players some of the folk dancing that we did regularly, they couldn't keep up. (this was back in 1960)

I have very fond memories of Mr. Cutler. From the 7th grade on through high school. He was among that first group of teachers at Novato High School that were so dedicated that they were going to teach us despite of ourselves. A serious man that took teaching seriously. He made P.E. fun. I will always remember him. Best thoughts to his family and friends.
Bob, class of 1960
