Not sure what to say?

Chris and Cindy,

My thoughts are with you and your family. I will forever remember the stories Ralph would tell me in the dugout in between innings and after our softball games were over. It was never a dull moment. It is an honor calling Ralph my teammate and friend. He will be missed but his memory will live on! R.I.P Ralph.

I will miss seeing his face in the morning.
I called him Boss.
In the morning I would say, Hey, Boss! and when I did his eyes would light up and he'd say, Hey, I know you! How ya doin'? And then he would ask me to help him break out of this place. He was charming, I loved his smile, his sarcasm and I enjoyed kidding around with himhe will be missed!
My condolences to all of you as you learn to live without his physical presence. It was an honor to care for him.

My condolences to Ralph's Family. I graduated with Ralph in 1948. He lived here at St. Paul's Sanctuary for a short time before moving to Michigan. He has many Mishawaka Alumni who live here. We were sorry to see him leave here. He was a great guy. Rest in peace dear class mate.

So sorry for your loss. My husband Bill Bush was on the police department at the same time as your Dad.

Chris and Cindy,

I was saddened to read of your Dad's passing.

Ralph DeMeyer was a wonderful Catholic, a great ball player and man out and about in River Park. But,what I remember most was one hell of a good South Bend Police Officer and Chief.

Former River Park Resident

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing...you have my heartfelt sympathy. Losing a parent is very difficult, as you begin to remember all the good times you had. Farewell to a softball legend. Nancy Barnett
