To Ralph's family- what a kind man Ralph was! When I would see him at Grant, I assumed he was a parent, or a grandparent, or perhaps a former band teacher just helping everyone out. Dear Rees & All, I want to express my most heartfelt sympathy to you all. Ralph was a dear childhood friend of mine in Raton and I enjoyed some nice time with him and Rees while visiting in Portland. He was truly the kindest and most thoughtful person I think I ever knew.
