A beautiful obituary, indeed! My family will remember Ralph as a joyful eccentric. Ralph was aware of his strengths and weaknesses and wasn't afraid of sharing his vulnerabilities and that was endearing. He also shared interesting and often wise perspectives, some surprisingly (yet refreshingly) old fashioned, others uber masculine and maybe not so popular, but he avidly researched topics of interest and could hold intellectual conversations at length.
