Not sure what to say?

Dear Flanders family,
When I think of your Dad, I always think of riding in a Volkswagon with him at the wheel....on the bumpy back country road. What a ride! Wasn't I lucky that Anne and Ralph were willing to let extra kids hang around all the time and to drive us around as if we were their own! What great fun memories I have because of their open, inviting home. I'm sending smiles to all of you!

Hi Naomi,
His day is done; the journey is over. I know it is a time of fond remembrances for you, and some relief that the tough times are done. Ellie and I are thinking of you. BW

My memories of your Mom and Dad and family go back to the Calvary Gospel church on Elm Street in the 60s with the Galpin and the Tryon families and others. And lately as I held church services at Rowan Court your dad was still personally alive in the faith as he would respond with a loud 'Hallelujah' when something homoring Jesus was mentioned. Your Mom was the birthing instructor for us before our second son was born. What a great family. I feel the loss of a long time friend, too. ...

Dear Flanders,
Deep sympathy to you all on the passing of your father. I have many fond memories as a child being in your home. Even at a young age I could see how loving and accepting both Anne and Ralph were to all. There was always a feeling of love and comfort there. May you cherish all your wonderful memories!! Love, Crisanne Wright Black

Dear Naomi and Esther,
We are wishing you peace and strength in this transition. We are thinking of you, reflecting on how beautifully devoted you were to your father's care.
Love, Debby and Marek

Jamie,
Sorry to here of the passing of your father.
It was nice to see you a few weeks ago, after all these years. I wish it could have been under nicer circumstances. Take care.

My memories of Ralph are currently bringing a smile to my face. I am glad to have known, and learned from, such an amazing man. His legacy, I know, lives on in each of you who are his children, and in many of us who knew him.

It was a joy to know Ralph years ago. Memories of his faith are vibrant today. Blessings and sympathy to Naomi and each of the other family members.
