Not sure what to say?

When I started working at Bettis in 1965, Ralph was already a legend, but I found he was always ready to help a struggling young engineer. He boosted the careers of many who probably would not had gotten so much done.

My deepest condolences to the Frederickson Family for their loss with the passing of Ralph. While I never had the honor of working with Ralph while at Bettis, I did have the pleasure of having lunch with him and our colleagues the last Tuesday of every month over the past several years. I thoroughly enjoyed his many stories, particularly his take on the books he was reading at the time. I will miss him and those stories.

There are many events with Ralph that I will always remember. I met with him the very first day I worked at Bettis in 1955 and he has been a friend and helper ever since that day. Ralph has guided and helped many Bettis colleagues which in turn contributed to Westinghouse and this Country.

My sympathy to Ralph's family. Ralph was one of the really greats of Bettis. He was a brilliant and talented engineer, manager, and teacher and a wise person. I was most fortunate to work with and for him. I think he inspired and helped everyone who knew him.

Ralph was also one of my best managers, but was also great to work with on projects. He will be greatly missed.

Ralph was always available for us dumber guys who needed advice get through the day. He helped me get through the LWBR Project and the S6W Project and never seemed to tire of the questions.
