Not sure what to say?

Ralph served aboard the USS Saratoga (CV-60) during a challenging time in American history.

In addition to combat operations, Saratoga played a key role in Operation Frequent Wind, the evacuation of American civilians and South Vietnamese refugees from Saigon during the fall of South Vietnam in 1975.

Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Sally,

I was so sorry to read of Ralph's death. My sincere condolences to you and all your family.

With love, Nancy

Ralph was one of my favorite people and will remember the good times we had with him. My late husband, Don Boye served with him on the USS Saratoga where Don was SMO and Ralph the 1st Lt. of the ship. Ralph was a very good friend. My step-dad Don Boye served with Ralph on the USS Saratoga in 1977-79 and he was a frequent guest in our home. Ralph taught me the fine art of bass fishing and we had lots of fun fishing at the Flordia lake were he had his cabin (possibly near Melrose). I swear he had the fastest bass boat ever made! He was a great guy!

My condolences to Ralph's family.
Ralph and I were ATO fraternity brothers and roommates the first semester of 62 - 63. We rented an old house on the southside of Grand Forks as there was a shortage of rooms on campus. It was quite an experience living with Swabie.

Hello, My name is Rex Nelsen. I remember Ralph very well from my childhood in Bismarck. He was a good friend of my brother Barry. Sally was a classmate of mine and a very lovely girl.
