I remember the family well. He was an officer with my father Gilbert H Lewis in the Upper Michigan CCCs. Good friends of ours in the younger years. I had as my first young girlfriend his daughter Mary Helene, when we were both in our single digit years. His wife Grace was like a second mother to me at the time.

My sincere prayers and respectful sympathy to the family of Ralph Hauenstein. It was a privilege and blessing to have known Ralph and Grace and their family as both a friend and pastor for many years. Ralph fought the good fight, he ran the race, he kept the faith. May he now rest from his labors and enjoy the crown of victory, new life, light and glory in the House of the Father with family, friends and all the saints.

Our sincere sympathy to Mr. Hauenstein's family, he was a patriot, humanitarian and genuine friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We are grateful for the Hauenstein Center which he made possible. Our family has a personal connection for which we are grateful that we had the resources in our community. My Mother knows Ralph Jr and I attend school with David. May you find healing and strength in the days and months that follow. God Bless You!

He was an awesome man and had so many interesting stories to tell! I worked for Mr. Hauenstein at Warner LeHara for over 10 years and he was an awesome person to know! My prayers go out to his entire family. I did meet his son Ralph many times and he is much like his father in many ways. I am sure this loss will be difficult for all and GOD will bring you all closer. You have an angel now watching over the entire Hauenstein family! God Bless you!
