Jim was the advisor of my wife and a professor for my capstone course at Miami. Despite our limited engagement, Jim probably had more impact on my life than any individual aside from my immediate family. Jim was a mentor to me and my family, providing encouragement, words of wisdom, a caring ear, and a giant heart.
