Not sure what to say?

Ralf was one of the best (if not the best) people I have ever known. He cared more about others than himself. When he saw someone in need, he quietly fulfilled that need. RIP Ralph, I will think of you lovingly and often. Jack Clark

Ralph and Rita were good friends for over thirty years. Ralph and his son visited us and spent two days in Lake City almost exactly one month before his passing. He always had us in stitches or always asked us the funniest questions and then tell us the funniest answers. We were also very close to Rita as she worked in our bookstore for several years. We do miss you both. Jan and P. David

Ralph bought my kids a BB gun for Christmas. He probably my knew we wouldn´t have done that. I think I used it more than they did. He also trimmed my house in Ridgway in 1995. He was so proud of the closet door that was different from all the others. He said it was like a Native American blanket. They always had one small imperfection which was symbolic of the world. Good bye Ralph. Love you.

My condolences to you in the loss of Dr. Hilmes. I remember him from Rifle, CO from when I worked at The First National Bank. I saw him again at Montage this past year and it was a pleasure to visit with him and reminisce about Rifle and life. He was very kind and enjoyable to chat with.

So many memories of Ralph where we all lived in the park. He was always so funny. We loved your Mom also. May God give you peace and love. Carol J. Gerk

He was my next door neighbor for many years, and we stayed in touch long after he and Rita moved across town. We enjoyed meeting for coffee and talking about philosophy, species of birds, and the wonder of nature. I loved his silly sense of humor. I will miss him. We last spoke this spring after Rita passed away. RIP my friend.

I was friends with Ralph over at Montage Creek. He will missed. Godspeed to you and your families healing.
