Not sure what to say?

How blessed I and all the students at Midway were to have had such a great English teacher and friend. He taught, prepared and encouraged all his students to be/do their best. We each have own special memories of Mr. King-one of mine was hearing him play the organ. He will be missed so much. My prayers are with his family and may God comfort each of you. Thank you, Mr. King!

Mr. King was a kind, gentle man who was loved by his students. I hope his family enjoys the article that was put together - http://www.sorsn.com/2011/03/mr-king-memoirs/

Mr. Ralph King was such a wonderful teacher and a nice person. He taught us English and Spanish at Midway, and was our class sponsor. He traveled with our Senior class trip. We appreciated him so much. Class of 1966

Mr. King was such a wonderful friend. He always loved the students of the Midway community, and they, in turn, loved and respected him. He helped me so much when I began teaching English at MHS (especially on diagramming those sentences!). My prayers are with his family at this time. We will all miss him. Naomi Davis

Mr. King will be sadly missed. He was a great man and a wonderful teacher. I thought of him often as I passed his former house in Kingston. He taught me much more than English and for that I will always be grateful. Rest in Peace, Mr. King!

Midway High Class of 1996

Mr King was a good man, and a wonderful teacher. he put up with so many student antics and always with a smile, he was a good sport about it all. MHS Class of 87

Mr king was a great teacher even though I failed his class one time and ended up taking his class the next year twice. He always called me Voy. Never by my first name. He made me laugh and he was a great friend as well as a teacher. I will miss him greatly. Goodbye Mr. King.

Mr. King was a wonderful teacher and role model. He was also my home room teacher. Our class went to Florida on our class trip since in 1966 There was rites in DC. Having a big family I would meet the class each year that a relative was on trip. Mr. King once told me that I went on more class trips than any student! I was living in Virginia at the time and always enjoyed visiting with him. My prayers for the family.
